What We Do

Partnering with Uganda Prisons to support incarcerated mothers and their children

Collaboration with Prisons

Collaboration with Prisons

Our work is made possible through close collaboration with the Uganda Prisons Service. Together, we create environments that uphold the dignity and rights of incarcerated mothers and their children.

We conduct regular outreach in prison facilities to assess needs, deliver essential supplies, and facilitate maternal support services. These efforts are designed to bridge the gap between confinement and care—ensuring that no mother or child is forgotten.

Our partnership also includes training of prison staff on child-sensitive care practices, improving maternal health systems, and advocating for improved living conditions for women inmates with infants.

By working hand-in-hand with Uganda Prisons, we are laying the foundation for systemic change that recognizes motherhood and childhood as human rights—regardless of the bars that surround them.
